The partnership, which commences this month, will see Levy UK collaborate with Goodwood to provide world-class catering and hospitality at all Goodwood’s major events including the Members’ Meeting, Festival of Speed, Qatar Goodwood Festival and the Goodwood Revival. These events alone attract almost half a million visitors every year.
Unlike any other motorsport or horse-racing venue in the world, the 300-year-old estate that surrounds all the action is dedicated to the production of fine food. Goodwood Home Farm is one of the largest lowland organic farms in Europe and its dairy herd was one of the first in the country to be 100% organically fed. The farm produces award winning beef, pork, lamb, cheeses, lagers and ales – all of which are served at events and across the estate’s four restaurants.
Charles Nicol, Managing Director Levy UK – Sport, Confex and Hospitality commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Levy UK and we look forward to forging a relationship with the team at Goodwood, working together to deliver a catering experience to all visitors that reflects the values and qualities of the historical Goodwood Estate.”
Chris Woodgate, Chief Operating Officer at Goodwood, said: “We are very excited to be working with Levy UK as our new catering partner. At Goodwood we are passionate about food and recognise the catering we provide at both our motorsport events and racecourse is a vital part of our customer experience. As we become increasingly recognised as one of the country’s leading food destinations, we look forward to working with Levy UK to build on this success and ensure our guests receive the highest quality catering experience at each of our world-renowned events.”
